[Sierra Madre Flower Festival Parade] [graphic]. 1911.

Images depict parade floats pulled by horses. One image shows four horses pulling a wagon in front of the Sierra Madre Feed & Fuel Co (1999.156.1). The horses' harnesses are decorated as is the wagon they are pulling. A man is seated on the wagon driving the horses. Five women are waving to the crowd and are seated on the wagon. Behind the Queen's Float, a group of baseball players is marching with a banner that reads "Sierra Madre Athletic Club." Another float pulled by horses follows the baseball players. Two children seated on the street curb are depicted in the foreground. The San Gabriel Mountains are visible in the background. One image depicts a float decorated with Japanese lanterns passing the feed and fuel store (1999.156.3). Women and children are seated on the wagon being pulled by two mules driven by two men. One image depicts people dispersing after the parade (1999.156.2). People are shown crossing the street on foot and on horseback. One image depicts a float decorated with flowers and palm leaves passing in front of the Woman's Club (1999.156.4).
